Sequuntur Somnia is an indie game for players who want to play horror games but find them uncomfortable. The main approach to making the audience comfortable is to include humour, puzzles, and friendliness. Incorporated into a thriller, a dark, creepy land and enemies.
The objective of this project is to get players connected with horror games. Sequuntur Somnia is a chance for players to expose themselves to this genre without feeling overwhelmed.

Player
The player is a Sandum. A Sandum is a creature created by Mr. Sandman to protect the dreams he creates. When terrors hit, it is the Sandums who walk into the dreams of people to eliminate the threat. The player notices certain behaviours that these monsters create. Some have very interesting habits. It is up to the player to not just attack, but listen and observe.
Who knows what paying attention will do? Maybe fighting is not always the answer.
Monsters
Spooker is a small spider-like creature with only two legs. Crawls into the dreams of children. The player will have regular interactions with Spooker within abandoned homes in the woods.
Although they cannot see very well, their senses are not to be underestimated. They attack when the player is close. Make sure to keep some distance, and no harm will come to the player. Spooker travels with others. Their family will always be close. Attacking one individual is bad luck. Consider fleeing if it is an option.

Zompie
Zompie is a zombie in charge of eating away memories of those whose dreams they find tasty. Regular interactions will occur with the player. Zompie has no particular target audience. They smell memories and eat their fill. The stronger the memories, the better.
They see, smell, and hear very well. They travel in large herds, constantly wondering. It will not take too much to defeat them. Their numbers are the difficult part.
Smillers are called that for a reason. They will never stop smiling. They smell of rotting meat, and their flesh is not like anything else. It is almost as if they are pieces of different parts of a body being held up somehow. Their creepy and unsettling laughing sound echoes through the halls in which they inhabit.
Smillers show up alone. They do not like to share their food. They haunt and live in typical busy buildings. Much like schools, offices, subways, etc. They will not venture outdoors. Many people sleep about their lives in class or at work. Smillers do not need to chase their prey when people come to them.
Smillers
One of the worst monsters to encounter. The player can barely see or hear them coming. Their abnormal body camouflages them to their surroundings. Gasmas are extremely deadly. They can unleash a powerful, poisonous gas from their body. They can be found in most locations as long as it is dark. Gasmas are always alone.
Not much is known about these creators. They do not feed on dreams like other monsters. They only seem interested in attacking the Sandums. Keep an eye out for them.
